My Morning Routine | Chloe Ryan Makeup

Good morning!
I've recently been addicted to watching my morning routine/get ready with me videos on Youtube, so I'm going to try my own, except blog style!

So when I wake up in the morning (feeling like P-diddy) I'm usually to groggy to function so my saint of a mother usually brings me in a cup of tea to help me come two. I'm obsessed with my Tinkerbell mug, by the way. Also, I take my tea with a dash of milk and two sugars, in case you were interested.

Then when I'm a little more awake and can stomach some food, I go and grab myself some breakfast. I'm currently obsessed over Lucky Charms (thanks Jordan) and eat them at any given time of the day. Can you tell I'm super healthy?!

Then it's time to get clean! I'm a night time shower-er so my morning routine consists of teeth brushing, mouth washing, hair doing and face cleansing. I then leave the bathroom and moisturise my skin and put on some SPF.

While I'm waiting for my moisturiser to soak in, I hop back into bed and take a few minutes to check and respond to texts and emails and also have a cheeky look at all my social media sites.

Then depending on the day, I get dressed into my work uniform or normal clothes. Although today, I have nothing planned, so am staying in my PJ's all day, NO SHAME!  But of a normal day, I go to the wardrobe and pick out an outfit like a respectable human being.

Then I spend too long doing my makeup, even if I'm not putting much on, I tend to take my time as it's my favourite part of the whole getting ready process! This is just a quick look into my everyday makeup bag, but if anybody is interested I could do an in depth post on whats in my everyday makeup bag? Let me know.

Then I grab all my shizz and head out the door into the big bad world to do whatever I have planned on that given day!

Hope you enjoyed, if you have a similar post, leave me a link below. As i said, I'm obsessed/nosey!

My favourite features | Chloe Ryan Makeup

So often, especially here in beauty land, we see EVERY girl scrutinizing every little thing about themselves, pointing out all they're flaws, ignoring their beautiful features. So with that in mind, I'm going to get a little vain, and tell you all the things I like about myself physically. I think it's good to do sometimes, especially if you've had a really crappy day and want a quick pick me up! These are the things I like about myself, the things I get complimented on and they things I've learned to love over time. I know I'll never be perfect, and under no circumstances am I claiming to be, but it's just a reminder to myself and to others that we all have something we like about out body!

My eyes:
These babies were the bane of my life until about last year. They're very large and because of this they are very hard to do makeup on. Obviously, makeup is my trade and I have to have my makeup looking immaculate when meeting potential clients but my eyes are always my least favourite thing to do on myself but funnily enough my favourite thing to do on other people. But I'm getting the hang of it and seeing what works for me. I have grown to love their size and I like the colour of them, I think they're really shiney and like how they look in pictures.

My skin:
Apart from a few open pores on my cheeks and some superficial redness, my skin has never caused me any problems and is relatively clear. I love the fact that I can easily go out with no foundation and not look like a corpse and also I like the fact it's so pale. I think it's quite eye-catching especially with so many people using fake tans nowadays. I also think my dimples are quite cute

My eyebrows:
By far the thing that gets most attention on my blog, my eyebrows have been steadily improving for the last two yeears, I like the shape and like how long hey take to grow back. I like that they're quite light in colour so I can wear them lighter or darker depending on the season/occasion.

My legs:
After loosing weight, the only area I still carry weight is my hips and upper arms, really (i'm working on it, I'm in a junk food slump at the moment though and have put on 4lbs!) but a lot of weight has fallen off my legs and has made me like them a lot more! I like the shape of them and I like the skin on them. They look a bit pale but I kind of like it.

What are your favourite things about yourself?!

Iphone Cover Collection!

So like just about everybody else in the world, I'm addicted to my phone. It's glued to my hand about 99% of the time and I feel panic-y if it's not in sight. As you can probably tell, I'm also addicted to all things pretty and cute. This is where the wonderful world of Iphone covers comes in. I love them, and I have a pretty hefty collection. Let me show you!

The first one from H&M was my most worn cover for a long time, it's a hard rubber and I think the print is very unique and original. It reminds me of a kaleidoscope (thank you, Google for the spelling) The middle one was given to me by my friends for my birthday. I really like the print but it has frayed a little at the side unfortunately. The last one is just random, I have no idea why i picked it, I don't even particularly LIKE hello kitty?!?!
The first one here is one of my go-to covers when I want to be a bit girly, again its a hard rubber (which is my favourite phone cover material) but does get slightly worn and dirty around the edges. The center one is so cute and is probably the one that gets the most attention from people. its not very sturdy though and falls off in my bag. The last one was a present from my mam for Christmas. I actually don't use it that much, but I do think it's very pretty!

The pink polka dotted one is again a birthday present from friends, it was my favourite for a long time as it's just a bright and vibrant pink! The cut out one from Pennys/primark was a bit of an impulse buy, I've only used it about twice and the paint chipped off and went a murky grey colour. I have a post on my tie-dye iphone case here, and the black one from Pennys/Primark is one of my only understated covers and great for when I have to be a little more conservative.

On to the sparkles! This is when I unleash my gypsy wedding side. Judge me, but i know you love them a little bit. I keep these all in plastic sheaths, so the gems won't fall off. My favourite one by far is the mint green one. It's just so me, I can't even.

And finally, my current favourite and the one that is currently gracing my (slightly grubby) phone. This is a flip one that is magnetized and has two slots for cards or money. It's so handy for running to the shops and cuts down on my bulky purse (which I'll blog about soon) and also protects the screen! I love the monochrome polka dots although it's not very summery.... Maybe i'll have to buy more?!!

Describe your favourite phone cover in the comments!

Dior haul! | Chloe Ryan Makeup

Hey guys!
So today I've have another haul for you, but this time it's more beauty related. Dior is not a brand I've tried much of but recently I've been buying and trying some of their stuff! I've had these products about two weeks now and will do full reviews on them after trying them a while longer. That is, if you would be interested of course! Let me know below :)

Anyway here's what I've bought:

Dior Capture Totale One Essential
This is a supposed to be a skin boosting serum that rejuvenates  and revitalises your skin. I've never used a serum before, so this was interesting for me.

Dior Hydra Life Pro-Youth Sorbet Cream
This is a moisturiser for normal/oily skin and is formulated to combat the first signs of aging. Now granted, I'm not even 20 yet, so don't have any actual aging. But prevention is better than reversal and this is not an anti-aging product so my skin wont become lazy and slack. I think I'm only going to use this at night, as it's quite heavy.

Dior Skin Forever foundation in 010
This is a long lasting medium coverage foundation. I'm normally a light and dewy face and body kind of girl. This is also just a smidge too dark for me, so we'll see how I get on.

Brow Universal in 001
This is the most intriguing by far. I usually use powder in my brows and have always shyed away from pencils. I also find it quite hard to match my brows to my hair without it being too warm or too ashy. This pencil is apparently universal (as the name would suggest) and can be used on anyone with any hair colour or any skin tone. This struck my interest and if its good could be amazing for my kit!

Have you ever tried any Dior products? Let me know!

My Dream Perfume Collection | Chloe Ryan Makeup

So we all know, I'm obsessed with perfumes and things good smelling. This means me having quite a lengthy list of perfumes I'd like to buy, if money was no option! I already have a few of these perfumes but I would buy them for years to come and know they will be in my collection forever.
So when I'm a big grown up lady, this is what I'd like my collection to look like.

I posted this pic before, but it goes with this post too! I should edit my pics like this again!

Jean Paul Gaultier Le Classique Eau de Parfum €102 for 100mls

Chanel Chance Au Tendre Eau de Toilette €98 for 100mls

Prada Candy (approx) €90 for 80mls

Coco mademoiselle Eau de Parfum €116 for 100mls

Coco Noir Eau de Parfum €116 for 100mls

Jo Malone Fresh pear and Freesia €99 for 100mls

 And the ones I have:

Chloe (2008)
Armani She
 Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir
Armani Diamonds
Boss Orange
D&G 3 L'imperitrice
Kenzo Amour

Now I know that seems a bit overboard, but I obviously wouldn't need these all at the same time, but rotate between a few at a time, so I'm always smelling yummy!

What are your favourite perfumes?!

Natural Collection body spray | Chloe Ryan Makeup

Smelling good is really important to me. One of my jobs largely revolves around scent and perfumes, so to say I have a lot is an understatement! Sometimes though, especially in summer, I want something a little bit lighter to spritz on me throughout the day.

These Boots Natural Collection body sprays are perfect for a quick freshen up and I have found they are really nice layered with some perfumes (but are also great alone!) At €3 you just can't go wrong! I bought two scents, the mango & papaya and the wild strawberry. I also saw a vanilla scent and a passionfruit one but I believe they come in about 7 different scents.

I found these to be quite long lasting for a body spray, they obviously won't last as long as your perfume but the plastic bottle means its perfect to fling into your bag and bring on the go, without having to worry about any glass smashing!

You get 150mls in the bottle which is larger than your average perfume and again for just €3 is an absolute steal. Overall I think these are great for everyday or for summer! They would also be great for school after P.E or things like that! They are great for someone on a budget and saves you using your expensive perfume everyday! Save it for special occasions and save your dough at the same time! Woo!
